PGRC IMAC Challenge has been canceled. If you have any questions, please contact Alan Goodman at ahgoodman@mindspring.com.
On Saturday, May 2nd, Freestate RC Aeromodelers in Maryland will be hosting an intro to IMAC clinic starting at 9am.
Want to get better at aerobatics? Want to try some new maneuvers and learn how to connect maneuvers together and fly a sequence? Curious about IMAC precision aerobatics and competition but never wanted to sign up for a contest? Here's a chance to come learn from experienced pilots to fly better aerobatics and try the IMAC Basic sequence in a no pressure setting.
Hey Pilots,
On March 12, 19, and 26th, I'll be hosting 90-minute online judging school sessions with the help of Brad Davy. If you have not attended an IMAC judging school recently or at all and intend to compete in any IMAC contests this year, I would encourage you to attend. Even if you are in Basic and aren't intending to judge, I guarantee you will learn some things about how maneuvers and sequences should be judged. In my first judging school there were a few things I realized I had been flying wrong as a pilot. Beyond that, to have a high quality contest, we need good judges.

Also, if there are people out there that can't make a weeknight session, please let me know.
Beyond that, we have a series of IMAC clinics this year hosted at a few different clubs. Those can be a combination of judging, flying, and general intro to IMAC. See event postings and there will be more infomation coming.
It's a bit overdue that I give everyone an update on the season schedule. We've mostly got the schedule set, though there are a few contests or clinics that are tentative and not yet on the official site schedule. One of the big things this year is there are a lot of IMAC clinics planned. Maryland clubs PGRC and Freestate RC will be hosting IMAC clinics in April, May, and August. The Concord Skyhawks will be hosting a clinic in late May as well and there is a possibility of others. I will be sending out an email to any past pilots in those areas to look for help with the clinics. The main purpose is to help get people started with sequence flying and hopefully get new pilots into IMAC. There are two clinics prior to Pegasus.
NOTE: You do not need to be an IMAC member to sign up on the website. It is possible to register, but not be a member. It's also possible to email the CD and we can add pilots on the site.
Lastly, I've heard that IMAC will hopefully be back in Quebec this year with potentially three contests. Hopefully the details can be worked out.

Welcome to the Northeast Region of International Miniature Aerobatic Club (IMAC).
Whether you’re brand new to IMAC, returning after some time away, or a long-time competitor, we’re glad you’re here. IMAC is built around precision aerobatics, good sportsmanship, and a strong community of pilots who enjoy flying and learning together.
We’re also excited to share that the new IMAC website is now live.
